In our three business units, we act as pioneers in a wide range of industries. Komptech offers innovative waste treatment solutions to protect ecosystems. Astotec Automotive stands for pyrotechnical safety concepts in the automotive sector, while Astotec Pyrotechnic Solutions specializes in energetic materials & igniters for the mining and automotive sector. With a permanent focus on progress, we are actively shaping the future of “technologies that matter” in these industries.

ORASIS Industries is located on three continents in order to supply customers all over the world. While the headquarters of ORASIS Industries Holding as well as the business units are located in Austria, the production and sales office network also includes numerous international locations. Astotec Automotive’s production facilities are located in the Czech Republic, Hungary and, most recently, in China, while a sales office is also operated in the USA. Komptech, on the other hand, produces in Slovenia & Germany.
160+ Years of Experience
Since its foundation in 1860, the former Hirtenberger Group focused on the production of mortar systems and ammunition until the end of the last century. As part of a realignment and reorganization of the Group the final exit and sale of the Defense division was completed in 2019 and the company was renamed ORASIS Industries. Whereas in the Hirtenberger past, the goods produced were used to harm people and the planet, ORASIS Industries now focuses on protecting and improving the lives of people and the planet. In short, “Technologies that matter”.

Due to the lean holding structure, it is additionally essential to maximize the impact of each of our employees. This aspired maximization of our impact is also defined in our credo “Impact>1” and states that we enable a multiplication effect of our activities through effective cooperation with the aim of empowering our business units.
